When I first got my puppy I would take her on outings to socialize her and get her used to the car. She would not be her usual happy self in the car, but she wouldn't get sick. Now that she's about 19 weeks old, she throws up every single time we go someplace. Whether it's a 30 minute drive to the vet or a 10 minute drive someplace else, she gets sick almost immediately. If it's a longer drive, she'll get sick multiple times. I've tried waiting a few hours after breakfast to leave, but that doesn't seem to help. Can you give me any advice on what to try next?

I'm also taking her to the vet tonight for a professional opinion, but it helps to have different perspectives!

Thanks,
Alison

you shouldnt feed it or drink your dog before driving or running you should wait 1-3 hr before driving with a full stomache.

if you know your going to be traveling in the morning or early afternoon DONT feed her breakfast

Also if you put your dog in a Crate and even cover it (dont cover the crate if its swelltering hot outside)
Also most vets can perscribe motion sickness pills to help calm them or put them to sleep.
Sometimes on a long car trip it helps to give your dog a bone in a crate this is so they dont stare at objects that reeapt themselves ie) Lamposts or lines on the road
