I am tired of JUST hearing about these cuties I want to see them. I am one of those knuckle heads that knows how to email pictures thus far. Any takers. I really love seeing pictures on the forums, but hardly ever see them on Auspet. IP: Logged |

i don't know how either. the administrator emailed me instructions one time but it was beyond my limited computer intelligence (which really isn't hard) i'd love to share pictures and would love to see others. IP: Logged |

Oh shucks DBuzzw, I can't see them either. I have always heard that a dog will reach its full growth at the age of two years old. Now my poodle is a miniture. I have had her 2 1/2 years and she is 6. Her perfect weight is 12 1/2 lbs.She is 11 1/4 inches at the shoulder. My terrier mix I have had since he was about 1 year old. He was 13 pounds arriving here but at the age of two he had gained a good 11 pounds. So he is now 24 lbs. He is not fat. Just bulked up into his manhood. Lots of muscle. I am not so sure with a toys. You would kind of know what the weight would be if you saw the sizes of the parent dogs. Maybe someone else can be more specific. Did your vet tell you about the double the weight thing? IP: Logged |

i can't even get my account set up for goobs suggestion on seemesmile.com!! good grief! i enter my activation number and it says i can sign in and i sign in and it wants me to put in my activation number. i give up. i think there is a problem with the site, maybe goob has stirred everyone to try to sign up and we've blown a circuit. anyway, LOVE the pictures i'm seeing! Jjami, I was finally able to post the pictures under a separate thread -- "Pictures of my babies". There have been no replies - don't y'all see how cute they are? Puttin - if you put [ img ] at the beginning of the link (without the spaces before the "i" and after the "g") and [ \img ] at the end, you should be able to insert the picture. this is draco my 2 yr old shipoo.....in the first pictures he was 8 wks old....the brown puppy is sofi a lhasa apso mix she is 7 wks in that picture with draco....the beagle is dolli. the pic of draco in his shirt is when he was about 4 mnths old and the ret were when he was 1 yr! Snickers: Your yorkie is cute. Picture is fuzzy but I know we will see more. Nessa: I took a look at your angel, real sweetie you have there. What mix is she? Sue: I think the only way we can get Auspet to make a separate page or gallery for pics is to bombard them with requests for it. They had started this tou dogs one for all the toy mixes out here becuase they were getting the third degree about their dogs not being a true breed. So everyone can now talk freely without getting into heated arguements. I must say it worked. I used to come and leave for awhile because it was just not nice. I would leave a post and actually I don't think anyone ever posted a response to my very first post. So we have to pool together. I would like to see a picture gallery here too. Well the tail is one way of telling if its a mix. People don't usually dock tails of mixes. Also the white spots. When her face is trimmed like the poodle she very much has a poo face, maybe a bit wider in the mouth. They do have a variety of poodle called the parti-poodle which has much more light and dark than yours. There are a few other poo mixes on this forum that look much like your angel. They only other reason I could think of not docking is that they are anti-docking like some european countries. She is more than likely going to be silver though, at least part of her if she is full poo possibly all silver. What did the breeders say about her parents? My poo has a full tail and my thoughts on that were that whomever bred her, they probably were not fully into breeding and or felt she was not good enough to be bred, she has crooked teeth. I would never breed her becuase she is not the perfect idea of the way a poodle should be, besides the fact she has health problems probably from her parents. If she was bred any pups she would have would have the same problems. But I can't wait to see what your Angel turns out to look like. It like you have a little bundle of surprise. IP: Logged |

Puttin, I didnt ask as many questions as I should have. I just feel in love with her all I could think about was taking her home. I didnt even ask if she was a mix. I do know that both parents were toy poodles. But I dont know if they were mixed. But cant tell for sure. And yes she is my bundle of surprise! I think it will be great if she's a silver. Heres winnie--7 month old female shih poo! shes great. she comes to work with me almost everyday and she is great with the kids. the kids and staff just love her. (i work in a preschool/clinic--i am a speech therapist..) IP: Logged |
