Hi,

Thank You for the replys.

My neighbor took the cat and ended agreeing with the vet, so they started treatment , Monday in their home. Like I stated before, I was to be the one who put the needle, but when I I saw the needle and actually was to the skin of the cat, I backed out.
Her husband has been doing it, which was a big step-up for him. He actually saw it done by the vet & the vet let him do it there, so he knows more than me. I would have to watch him do it and that is going to be soon, to make me a back-up in case he isn't around.
I downloaded so many pics and articles, step-by-step and actually inserting a needle that big, freaked me out.
In time I think I can do it.
Anyways the other situation is that because this cat is on HILLS PRESCRIPTION FELINE K-D DIET FOOD, I gues for the rest of her life, can it harm other cats age 4years & 1+years old, because it is hard to seperate their feedings. The vet says its ok but are they losing out eating this or gaining to much nutrients etc. staying on this.
Also, the cat with the problem loved 9 LIVES TUNA & EGG in a can...does this mean she can no longer eat this canned food because it will not go with the K-D food, or can she have like a spoonful for a treat or something. I don't know, like not take away everything, but not exactly gave the same portions.

Sorry, feels like I am rambling on, just am concerned because I like this persian cat so much . She is a real "character" with a moody grouchy face that you just have to smile from it.

Any info would greatly be appreciated,

Thanks
MC

Hello. What kind of kidney problem does your neighbor's cat have? Is wasn't mentioned in your previous post or this post.
