Freckles? I am not sure.
Are they bumpy or flush with the skin?

Both my kitties are now 9 months old. They both had black noses at 3 months old and even at 6 months old. Now they are 9 months old and have pink noses. (????) kittens/cats physical features will and do change.

But, to play it safe you could always get a second opinion and go to another vet.
