Yes. You can purchase the 'kit' at pet supply stores. Basically, the kit contains items to go over the toilet. The first one has just a tiny hole in the middle and as time goes on you can gradually add the larger holed toliet trainers, until the cat gets used to using it. By the time the toilet training is nearly over the hole in the middle is very large. The next step would be to no longer have the toliet trainer on the toilet and the cat would natually just go do it's thing over the toilet.
It's a very long process and takes a lot of training and patience on your part.

You don't need the kit. Check your local library for books on the topic. I read a very good one I think it was called toilet training your cat in 3 weeks, or something like that. It teaches you how to do it with things you have. My pet store sells the "kit" for over a 100.00.

HERES SOME REAL ADVISE...

PUT THE CAT'S LITTER BOX IN THE BATHROOM NEXT TO THE TOILET. AFTER KITTY IS COMFORTABLE BUT A PHONE BOOK UNDER IT. THEN SLOWLY ( MONTH OR 2 EACH STEP ) BUILD THE LITTER BOX UT TO THE HIGHT OF THE TOILET. THEN PUT IT RIGHT ON TOP FOR A WHILE. THEN FILL A LARGE BOWL WITH LITTER AND PLACE IT INSIDE THE TOILET BOWL. PUT LESS AND LESS LITTER IN THE BOWL UNTIL THERE IS NONE. THEN TAKE THE BOWL OUT. ( CLEAR BOWLS WORK BEST) KITTY SHOULD POTTY IN THE TOILET BY THEN, IF NOT...MAYBE KITTY NEVER WILL. PLUS I DOUBT YOU'LL EVER TEACH IT TO FLUSH!!

Most people don't teach their cat to flush b/c then the cat will flush for fun!

What fishfood described is what that book said. I recommended the book b/c it has a lot of other advice and recommendations that I can't remember.
