![]() ![]() ![]() The way my apartment is set up, to get to one of my cat's litter boxes you have to go through my room. So at night I try to keep my door open for him. Within the past two weeks, he's been coming up on my bed and just jumping at my face or arms and biting them while I am sleeping or trying to get to sleep. He's never done this before, but it's not a good experience. Is there anything I can do besides close my door? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello. You may want to give him the biggest meal at night after you play with him to tire him out. For example 1/2 hour before you know you will be going to bed, play with him. Anything that involves him running around (lazer pointers are pretty good), then after 10-15 mintutes of this, give him something to eat (perhaps some quality soft food). He should by then be ready for a long nights rest. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() That is what I have to do with Nina. She always wants to play at night while I"M trying to sleep. I have to sleep with my hair in a bun cause she eats/pulls it, She jumps on my face, nibbles my ears etc... I discovered the more I play with her and tire her out before I sleep helps a ton. Running around will end up knocking her out and she will actually fall asleep on my bed with me. I Have never tried feeding her before I sleep - but that is a great idea also. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() my cats like to scratch my nose in the morning while i'm still asleep. they both do it and it's a real scary thing to wake up to! anyway- it usually means that theyre hungry, cos they settle down after i feed them and i can go back to bed ![]() IP: Logged |
