![]() ![]() ![]() I would just like some input on everyones litter preferences? Has anyone ever tried the all natural ones, like World's Best ot the Red Rooster chicken litter or any others? Just wondering how well they work. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I have only tried two litters, one was Johney cat which i hated cause it always smelled and did not clump. But now i use Everclean I love the smell and it really covers up the cat smell without being overpowering and it clumps nicely and does not collect at the bottom of the litter tray. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I've tried Worlds Best, Swheat Scoop and Feline Pine. I was not satisfied with the odor control of the Worlds Best or Swheat Scoop and found the Swheat Schoop often stuck to the bottom of the box like cement and was hard to get off. I do know of others who are really happy with Worlds Best and/or Swheat Scoop so maybe its just me. I really loved the Feline Pine but my cats were'nt real happy with it...I plan to try it again sometime soon mixing it in with their regular litter to see if I can get them used to it. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I use Feline Pine and I love it. Both my cats use the same litter and it works out great. Tami IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I would really like to try Feline Pine, I'm sure it's great. Though somebody posted their cats didn't like it, was that you Fleafly? :-) Anyway, I'm using Walmart's Kitty Litter. Two reasons, one, it's all my cats have ever used and are use to it, and second, it's cheap. I don't notice the smell, so I guess it covers up the odor well. But I have two problems. One is that it clumps and sticks to the bottom of the pans. So I have bought one of those little camping shovels to dig it off the bottom of the pans. Those little plastic shovels don't work as well for me. I know, I probably could use those plastic liners but that is another expense, plus they've never had them before. And they already lick the trash bags to death while I'm cleaning (LOL). Any ideas? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() My cats always tear holes in the plastic liners when they cover up. I haven't tried the Feline Pine. I live to far away from Petsmart for that. I already have to stock up on 2 months worth of food at a time! I use tidy cat, but I agree with nern about the dust. It usually doesn't bother me, just occasionally. Arm & Hammer is also very good. My mom likes the Petco brand. The Wal-Mart brand, Special Kitty, is pretty good too- I have been to a factory where they make Arm & Hammer and Special Kitty litter, they are basically the same thing. Of course all of the litters I am mentioning are scoopable. In my opinion the clay chunks are crap!!! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I currently use the Arm & Hammer unsented. I really like it. It clumps really well and I do not notice the smell at all. In my opinion, the unsented is better than the sented, b/c the sented sometimes smells sour when it is a little dirty. But the most important thing is, Chole likes it. She has never had a problem using it. I hope all this helps. Allison IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() i used to always use arm & hammer and i loved it but my younger likes to eat it for some reason ![]() so now i try to use whatever clay litter i can find at the store; she doesn't eat it and even if she did it's better for her than any clumping litter. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Fleafly, I agree with you about the liners. I stop using them a LONG time ago. They are no good for cats who still have their claws. But for a declawed cat they work good. NTC IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() i dont use kitty litter box liners..... they're useless. they tear whenever i scoop the litter, and cats claws rip right through it. perhaps if they made kitty liners from brown paper bag... that would be clever i use arm and hammer too. i think they clump well, terrific on the scent absorbtion. ///ej IP: Logged |
