please help me with this problem.my roomates cat just got fixed a few months ago,he is about 2 or 3 years old.I have 2 fixed male cats also,one also got fixed at the same time as my roomates cat.(moo),my roomates cat is peeing on everything,Not spraying! And i do keep 2 litter boxs out,clean them every day.i've tried everything in the book to stop him,...if anyone has any ideas on what i can do to stop or help him,please let me know asap,by email or here,my house smells like a cat barn now. thanks.

Have your cats been doing this too? have you checked with the cat's vet? maybe they didn't do something right.I hope you can get the problem fixed!

Hello. Welcome to the site. You may want to talk your roomate into taking her kitty to the vet to rule out a UTI (urinary tract infection). This is a very common condition in cats and is inexpensive to treat with medication. Basically a cat with a UTI will associate the litter box with pain and will avoid it. Also, the kitty may not be able to help where they urinate. It's worth a trip to the vet to rule it out. If this turns out to not be the problem, post again and we are all here to help you and your roomate resolve this. Keep us posted.
