My kitty Lilly just passed away about 1 week ago and i'm sad *tear*. She had a block in her intestines and would throw up her food. The doctor said they could do an operation to see what it was exaclty and attempt to extract the blockage but it was an almost definite chance she would not come out of the operation alive. She was extremly thin from starving herself and i had to literaly force food down her throat. After 3 weeks of being in and out of the hospital with iv's and medicines, we knew she had suffered long enough and was ready to leave us so we did the heart-renching thing and had her put to sleep. We had brought her to 2 differnt vets, the first had no idea what he was doing and just gave us antibiotics and sent us home with a large bill. The second vet did an x-ray for us and discovered the problem at hand but by that time it was too late. Lilly was nothing but skin and bones. Please take your animals to have a second opinion b4 its too late! Thanks for listening to my story...i miss her so much. - luv Robin.

Hello. I'm so sorry for your loss. Most of us here have lost one of our fur animals and it's not easy. I know how you're feeling right now. Hang in there.

I know this doesn't help much, but my heart goes out to you. Losing a beloved pet deserves bereavement, please give yourself the time to heal.
