hello everyone,

I'm looking for a liquid disinfectant for cleaning the litterbox once in a while which needs to be safe for my kitty. Most of the spray disinfectants I can find in supermarkets do not state if they are safe for pets. If anyone knows/uses a product you think is safe and good, please recommed to me! Thanks a lot!

I just use dish soap to clean mine. I let them soak for a while and then scrub them down.

i have also worked at several vets and each are different when it comes to cleaning routines and products.
One clinic used bleach and domestos diluted with water : i found this very harsh and can burn the kitties paws if not dried completely.
the other clinics used a variety of disinfectants especially made for verterinary Hospitals. This is what I use personally, and on a daily basis.
You can ask your local vet if they can order you a bottle for home use.
I use diluted bleach once a week and leave trays in the sun for the uv light to kill bad bugs.
