I have a 1 1/2 year old male cat. He is Neutered, so I know this is not the reason for doing what he is doing. For the past 3 days, every day, I find him in one of the "cat beds" rubbing his paw like he is in the liter box, and then peeing in the "bed". What can I do?? Why is he doing this? MY liter box is always clean, so I know that shouldn't be the answer! Do you have any idea why he is doing this all of a sudden?? Pease help me! (Thanks)

You may want to take your cat to the vet. It sounds like it may be a urinary tract infection. When I got my one kitten, she peed in our cat bed and behind our entertainment stand when she had her infection.

Does your cat meow when he's doing this? My cat cried when she peed in the cat bed.

Treatment was pretty cheap. My cat had to be on some medicine and food made for urinary health that we bought at the store.

Even if it's something else, I would take him to the vet to figure out what's wrong.

Good luck!

No, he does not make any noises while peeing. Its normal as if he were in the kitty litter. (I had to keep my 3 cats in a spare room w/ litter, food & water b/c we were having work done on a wall in our house....I thought this was his confusion, but it can't be. It was over a week ago. He has just started to pee within 3 days!!) Thanks for your help. I am making him an appt. for today.
