![]() ![]() ![]() my cat did not have any real symptoms. he was not feeling like himself, kind of achy. we took him to the vet for that and the vet felt his neck and said he had a swollen thyroid gland. a blood test was done and the diagnosis came from the blood test. he was running a fever but that was not from the thyroid, the vet said. he had not lost weight, was not eating much more than usual and was not hyper which are classic symptoms. the only sign inm retrospect was the swollen gland which we overlooked.
