Lol. He is so beautiful. If he went in there by himself, I suppose you should keep the lid closed at all times.

You added to your post.....Lol...Well, I suppose you may have to baby proof your house. Especially the fridge and the washer and dryer. I've never seen a M.C. with so much white on his fur. Is this unusual? He sure is cute.

he certainly did go inby himself! when i load the machine hes in adn i keep having to take him out or i never get anything done. we have to make sure everything is closed and make sure hes not in whatever it is when we close it! he can be so sneaky. he waits for us to open something and bolts in. im not sure if the white is unusual. the rest the litter and the breeders other silver tabby cats had the same amount of white.

You could get him a big cardboard box for him to have all to himself. My cat loves boxes. Maybe if he had his own box he wouldn't try to get into other enclosed spaces. It's worth a try.

That is a really cute picture.

Just check the dryer before you start it. My mom started the dryer with one of her cats in it. She didn't see her climb in. My mom realized very quickly and she was fine. Now she checks every time.

One of my cats likes to get in the fridge too. She jumps in and lays down. I thought if I left her in there for a minute she wouldn't like it and it would cure her. Nope she was fine. I kept checking on her, but I left her in there for several minutes and she still didn't want to come out!

I was talking to one of my patients today, as she has a M.C. I was telling her about your kitty and how it tries to get into everything. Anyway, she was laughing and said that M.Cs. are notorious for doing this! Lol. I also asked her about the different colors of fur in M.Cs. She said that they come in all sorts of colors. She even said she's seen them all black! I had no idea. She showed me some pics on her cell phone of her M.C. and he is so cute too. He's a big boy at 26 lbs.

I've always thought Maine Coons were the cutest and prettiest kitties.

She did mention about M.Cs. being pretty talkative. However, she didn't mention anything about them walking around with things in their mouth. That's pretty funny. Did I mention how cute your cat is? Lol...I think I did. I agree with Casey, I want to squeeze him too. I'm sure you won't have any problems having anyone coming over to petsit for you, if you ever go on vacation or out of town. Who wouldn't want to hang out with that big fur ball?
