OK here's the scenario. I have 2 siamese brothers (twins). They are going to be 2 years old in March. One of them is usually such a Siamese. Meowing all htet ime where you can talk to him and he talks back and it keeps going, and he is Mr. Rolly-Polly always showing he wants attention. Something's wrong with Banky. Since I started watching him yesterday am I have noticed:

* he hasn't gone to the bathroom.. upon firther watchig when he goes in - he tries but nothing comes out and he trie s af ew spots and nothing.

* he won't roll over or talk at all

* I haven't seen him eat or drink since before yesterday am

* he usually lies ANYWHERE. now he is just finding cozy spots all cuddled up in a chair or something.

* He just looks up at you and he looks not himself.. kinda depressed.

* he purrs when we pet him but he doesn't go out of his way to get attention (which is so not like him).

* He is usually what we call Psycho Kitty becasue he runs around like a kitty on stimulants and he slowly walks around now with his tail far from perpendicular.

My hubby is gonna try and get outta work early to bring him to the vet today, but help.. please I have been in tears whenever I look at him.... What could be wrong with my angel?

these are my babies by the way.... http://www.tara-nicole.com/kittens.html
(the last 4 pics are of Banky - he;s the one on his back tummy exposed when there are 2 of them).

They are beautiful. I also have 2 siamese cats and I adore the breed.

HAve you tried giving him Laxatone? That might help maybe he's just suffering from severe constipation. But I'd check with a vet first especially if the symptons came on quickly.

You might want to check out http://www.meezer.com great place for people who have siamese cats.

here are my 2 meezers. I didn't get them as kittens...they were both give-ups. I've had the sealpoint for nearly 8 years and the bluepoint for 4 years. I adore them

It sounds like he is impacted and can't go. It can be life threatening if it goes on too long. He definately needs to go to the vet. They can do an enema if they have to to clean him out. The behavior changes either mean he is sick and that is causing the constipation, or he is so constipated that it is affecting his behavior. Either way he needs to go to the vet ASAP.

* * * * * BANKY UPDATE * * * * * *

Well, they tok x-rays and she couldn't see any stones. His bladder wasn't too full and he wan't backed up with poo (just a normal amount she showed us). She went to his urethra and tried to see if he was currently passing anything and she got a tiny white piece out. She couldnt get a urine sample so she said she couldn't say for sure he had crystals so she sent us home with NO-Sorb litter. Whata joke. Its a tiny bit and you expect my cat touse that? HAHA. Don't look like she's getting a sample. He still wont touch food or water. She said to try wet food. We bought 7 different brands. So far neotehr one of them would even give it a second sniff. Banky seems to be acting a little better and his look isn't as pathetic. His brother is constantly hissing at him now though. I feel bad for both of them. Any Clue why he is hissing at him?

She gave him a dexamthesone shot to help with his uterine contractions (so she said) and some of that laxatone but she didn't want to give him medicine if he didn't need it. If I find anything else out, I will post it to you all.
