has anyone delt with this horrific cancer ??? are there any new forms of treatment available ???
can they place radioactive gold beads in the site ? cemotherapy ? surgery ? (mandibularectomy)
9 yr old neutered male cat diagnosed, vets discussing euth. but are there any other options new in USA or UK, can someone suggest something ?

Desperate.

Oh God...I'm not a vet and have never dealt with anything like this. Just wanted to tell you that I'll say a little prayer. Hope somebody out there knows something.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. I would call all the vets in your driving range and ask each one the questions you just asked here. You may very well stumble across a vet who can treat this condition. Please keep us posted and if I find out anything I will post again.

p.s. when you go through your phone book for vets look up: Veterinary Oncologist (a person that has received board certification in the study of cancer in dogs, cats, ferrets, birds and other exotic and domestic animals. These veterinarians are specially trained to diagnose and treat animals with cancer). I think they might be of more help than a regular vet.
