Svetlana has beautiful markings...from what I can see. And I agree...Iams is a complete waste of time. There are lots of other great, nutritious foods out on the market that cats actually enjoy. I'll be interested in the responses you get.

I used to have a cat named Jack, too. He's such a sweet kid...I found him in a condo development near where I work when he was just about 6 weeks old (that's what the vet thought, anyway).

Jack's mother was moving her nest of kittens and Jack got left behind. He is just a tiny little thing, a runt, really. I was thinking that might be why the mother left him there. In any case, I'm going through a divorce and my ex took Jack and one of our other cats (Jefe...we had 4 total). I miss my Jack so much...give yours an extra scratch on the head and under the chin from me!

I am really sorry to hear about what your going through!! you'll be in my thoughts!

Jack was a mean street cat. I found him in the apartments i use to live in. we had train tracks right next to the place and heavy train traffic. like a train every 30 min. i was feeding him and trying to gain his trust. i really wanted him becasue i was scared he would get hit by a car or train. finally he got use to me and became mine or rather i became his!!! I had never had a cat before and was totally cluesless on how to raise on. I actually thought he was a girl at first!!! ( i was a BIG dog only person but a lover of all animals and couldnt bear the thought of this cute little cat getting killed by a train so i took him in) He totally stoled my heart and made me think differently about cats! hence the new addition to my house hold!!! he got his name becasue hes a black cat.and at first he was mean as fire. his full name is Jack the Black Cat. (some times when he is extar mean we call him Jack the Evil black cat!! all in good fun though!!!) but he acts like his a loner but there are times that you know he is happy to have you around!! but becasue he's a boy he cant show it!! you know how guys are!

Oh...I love that photo of Jack's paws sticking out from the rug. He seems like a very cool cat. And the "playgirl" photo of him sitting very spinxlike with his paws crossed is too much!

You have beautiful babies. And a very neat story about how you got him. It seems meant to be!
