Hi - we just adopted a three month old kitten from the PALS organization. We picked him up on Saturday, January 17. That evening when we brought him home he began to vomit. At that time it was just white foamy vomit. On Saturday night he vomited 4-5 times, Sunday 3-4 times, and now Monday and Tuesday night 2 times. He finally ate some food yesterday, so last night when he vomitted it was like diahrea. We gave him some Pepto on Saturday evening as the vet recommended and took him to the vet on Monday. The vet says that he is healthy and there is no reason he should be vomitting. She says that it is probably just him adjusting to the new environment and the new cats (we have two others ones who will have nothing to do with him - but he sure wants to play with them!) During the day he is active and runs around the house like he has been there forever, it is at night usually when the vomiiting starts. The vet gave us a sample of sensetive stomach cat food, but he won't eat it. Does anybody have any suggestions for our little kitty? Another thing, unlike most kitty's who are fat and round, this kitten is so thin - he's just fur, skin and bones.

Sounds to me like he may be eating something...do you use any harsh house hold cleaners?? Tom started to vomit like that. He was licking the pledge off the table legs...

No, I can't really think of anything that I use nor have I seen him get into anything this past weekend. I am going to call the place we adopted him from and see if they had noticed anything and find out what kind of food he had previously been on. He is a very vocal kitten. He did have siblings, but when we got him he was the only one left.

Our other male cat, who is just a big teddy bear, is starting to lick him and care for him.

I put him in my children's bathroom this morning, so he will probably be lonely, but yesterday when we got home, he had peed all over the place. He is supposedly litter trained. I think the litterbox was just too far for him to get to intime, so now he has his own.

I would have him checked over again. Have them test his stool and urine. It could be that hes adjusting, then again he could have gotten into something before coming to you.
