4 month old kitten is very lethargic and seems to be very weak. Not sure what to do. It was like one minute the kitten was fine and the next she was sick. She wont eat and drinks very little, if at all. She is from a liter of 3 and the only one sick, plus we have her momma too. The momma cat was a feral cat but the kittens are not. Also the momma had tape worms when she was nursing but the vet said the kittens would not be affected. Any one have any suggestions?

You should take the kitten to the vet.

Your kitten may have haemobartonella, it is life theatening if it is not treated on time.

Take to the vet ASAP because the vet will Tetracycline, the antibiotic it is use in this condition. Also you will have to force feed the kitten and keep him/her hydrate by giving sq fluids or very carefully water with a dropper.

Good luck!

She definately needs to go to the vet. Until you can get her to the vet try to get her to eat and drink. You can give her water and kitten formula with a dropper or needleless syringe.
