I was at Walmart today and they had, literally, a shopping cart full of free samples of their own premium food called Actrium (actually it's Actr1um). The guy unloading the stock told me to take as many as I wanted so I left with an armload full...anyways, I was just wondering if anyone has tried it. The ingredients list is as good or better than Iams and Science Diet (the ones they compared it to). At any rate, I have a lot of food to give the shelter if it doesn't work out for my guys!

I've never heard of it. When I look at pet food labels, I look for a few things. One is that the first ingredients are some type of meat and not fillers like rice or corn or meat by-products and secondly that the ash content is only around %6 and it has at least %15 of taurine.

I think Iams and Science Diet are over-rated. Not to mention I don't like the way these companies treat animals.

Has anyone else seen this food at their Wal-Mart? Mine still doesn't have it.

I think this might be only in Canada. When I was in the US (Niagara Falls) on the week-end, I looked for it but I couldn't find it.

hmmmm that maybe. My neck of the woods is usually about 6 months behind the rest of the country though, so it could be other places and just not here yet.
