Is this mean to keep this poor little kitten confined completeley until she is using the litter box? I feel so bad for her.She crys and crys

You can let her out of the bathroom sometimes but I would keep her in there during the night and while you are'nt around to supervise. It should'nt take her long to start using the litterbox but confining her is one of the best ways to accomplish this.
