![]() ![]() ![]() My kitty Sammy (around 6 months old) has just started a new behavior...licking me! He does it a lot now to my face, neck and hands. I am not sure what would prompt this new behavior as he has never done it before. Any ideas? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Just about every cat I have ever known has done this. It's very normal. Cats will also lick (groom) each other and cats do see us as a part of their family. Perhaps your cat is just trying to get you nice and clean or perhaps it's a sign of affection. Whatever the reason, I find it very cute. A cat will never lick a person it does not like. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() One of my cats randomly licks me. She wont do it for awhile then she will go on a licking binge. She licks the same spot over and over so my skin gets raw if I don't move my hand. IP: Logged |
