I am still suffering with a huge flea problem, it looks like i will have to set off a flea bomb but where do I get one? The other thing is one of my cats has really suffered she hasnt got a flea allergy but she is really sore and itchy, i have been bathing the sore in salt water to stop them getting infected but is there anything else I can do to ease her suffering a bit while we get the fleas under control? Have you tried Frontline?? or Advantage? You can also help this problem by sprinkling just a bit of garlic salt, or garlic powder into their food. You can get the "bombs" at any petstore. They also have the carpet "defleaer" and Deoterizer, that I've found works pretty good. You can give your kitty a bath in Apple Cidar Vinegar too. Just add it to the warm water and let her soak in it for amoment. Don't let it get into its eyes though. IP: Logged |

Hi Caitlyn i too am from the uk, contact your vets they sell an household spray called vetkem 2000 its great stuff. What you do is spray each room close all windows and doors and leave the room shut up for 30mins and carry on through the whole house this stuff kills the fleas and there eggs make sure you spray curtains and furniture. Once this has been done no matter where your cat lays down he/she will get the stuff in there fur and kills the fleas also if the fleas jump off anywhere in the house they will die instantly as they stuff is still in the rooms this last for around 7months and you should find that you aint bothered by fleas again. hope this helps. mike boro_lad1976@hotmail.com IP: Logged |

Just make sure you and your cats are not in any of the rooms when you are spraying or bombing the house. If you are spraying, take the cats out to the garage or friends/neighbors and make sure you wear a mask when you spray. All those products are very dangerous to inhale for both you and your cats/dogs...actually all animals and fish too. IP: Logged |
