My cat is 10years old, will be 11 in May. Im the last year she has started to pee around the house. from the carpet floor,to beds, to couch, blakets, clothes. and it just seems to be geting werse. We did change her liter to clumping liter. and thats when around the time we did notice her doing this. I was thinking it b/c shes geting old. but then I was reading that it could be b/c of the liter. She is an indoor cat and doesnt really try to get out. Anything that could help I would love it thanks=)
Lisa...........
P.S. We moved her litter box upstairs, and so far its been aweek and all is good. "Knock on wood".
P.S.S. Ok I take that all back damnit. She went 2times outside of her litterbox. Not to sure why. Her litter is cleaned alot and maybe it just wasnt cleaned enough for her liken. Well lets hope for the best!

Have you tried changing back to her old litter to see if that helps? Have there been any changes in your household over the past year that could be causing her stress?
Since she is an older cat I would also have health problems ruled out if switching back to the old litter does'nt work.

Hello. Welcome to the site. Everything Nern said pretty much sums it up: possible litter change, or stress, or medical problem (UTI). Keep us posted and let us know how things are going. Good luck.
