I have a question. My siamese cat Candy, who I've now had for two years is every month, throwing up! About once or twice a month! I have tried everything. Picking up her dry food at night, swithching to a different kind of food, picking up her wet food at night, and feeding her smaller portions, but nothing works. Right now she eats Science Diet for sentitive stomachs and Friskies wet food. It's not furballs because she has short fur and all that I can think is that maybe it's that she is a siamese. Because my friend has a siamese cat and it gets sick a lot too. Any information would be greatly appreciated. THANX

Cat's just get sick when they are nervous, so that may be the problem. Maybe all of that change in her diet and stuff is freaking her out!

Throwing up once or twice month isn't too bad. It could be hairballs even if she has short hair. If you think it might be hairballs try giving her some petromalt or other hairball stuff. This usually works for my cats when they throw up. You can also try giving her a hairball formula food. The best one I have found is Authority brand hairball formula.

If you think she has a sensitive stomach, you are going to have to do a controlled experiment with her food. Give her only one kind of food at a time and try it for several weeks at a time. I would lay off of the wet friskies and just try the Science Diet sensitive formula. If that doesn't work you can try California Natural, I think it is supposed to be good b/c it has very few ingredients.

Maybe other people can suggest some good sensitive stomach formulas?
