My cat Blanche (a 9yr old long haired tabby, female)has recently started to throw up after giving her this "Laxatone" that I got from the vets.

This is strange because she has already gone through 2 tubes of the exact same stuff. This tube is new but compared to her old one every thing is exactly the same down to the flavour. I've given her the same quantity and less.

Yet she still throws up immediately afterwards. Obviously I've stopped giving it to her.

Can anyone suggest a reason for this or a different product I can use to help her with her hair problem. She is the fussiest eater ever she wont even eat shrimp or tuna.

If she has excessive hairballs you might try giving her a hairball formula food. Authority brand is the best one that I have found.

I don't know why she would start throwing up from it, thats weird. I use a product called petromalt it is very similar to laxatone. I think they have it at Petsmart.

I'll keep an eye out for the petromalt and see if she likes that instead.

If that doesn't work I'll see if I can find the Authority food.

Thanks for the help.

You should be able to get both of them at Petsmart.
