One of Handsome's favorite things in life is food. Every morning when I wake up he goes right to his food bowls and makes sure I have put his breakfast in there. Does he eat it? No! He runs out to find his best pal (a possible stray or neglected cat). Once he finds his pal he brings him back to his house and let's him eat all of his food. Once his pal is done, then and only then does Handsome look at me to give him some food.
You'de have to know Handsome to understand what a big deal it is for him to not only share his food, but to give it to his best pal first.

I have put posters up about this cat, with no replies (only neighbors that call to say that they feed it too). I have put collars on him too with my phone number to call me, but he comes back with no collar on.

I took his best pal to the vet to get neutered, shots, de-wormed, full exam and tests and I put advantage on him once a month (for fleas).

As sweet as this cat is, he just comes to eat, be pet a bit, hang out with Handsome and scratch his nails on the catnip scratching post. I have in my own way adopted him, but he just doesn't want to be inside for very long.

Although, Handsome looks for him every morning he doesn't always find him. You can tell handsome looks a bit sad that he couldn't find his pal and invite him over to share his breakfast.

I just think it's so sweet how Handsome takes care of his best pal.

Wow...my parents cats...Fleabag and sox aren't that loving. Sometimes Flea will lay across the auto feeder so Sox can't eat!

Awe, that is so cute. Very kind of you to take the stray to the vet too.

That is cute. My mom has a kitty who will sit at the door and howl to get outside. As soon as she lets him out he runs out and finds this little stray girl cat. He goes outside to hang out with her and protect her. My mom has been trying socialize the little girl for a long time. The little girl is to the point where she sleeps on the doorstep but she still runs a few feet away when my mom comes. My mom knows when the stray cats are out of food b/c the little girl comes to the door and meows loudly until my mom goes out and feeds them!

Zigma, welcome to the site.

Nern, taking him to the vet was the least I could do. I just wish he would be willing to stay with me and Handsome at night. Handsome can come and go as he pleases during the day, but at night he has to be at home. He knows this and he never misses his curfew. He's so cute.

Fleafly, that is a very cute story too. I hope that little kitty will become less scared of your mom and perhaps become part of her family. I'm hoping the same thing will happen with Handsome's best pal, but the vet told me he's probably about a year old. Seems like the longer he's outside, the harder it will be to try and get him to stay with me and Handsome.

Samsintentions, Lol...that's very funny! Thanks for sharing that.
