This morning i woke up to find that my 11 week old seal point Siamese mix Kittens (boy-Huggs, Girl-Heavynn) had jumped on my nightstand and knocked over my case of excedrin asprin. I don't know if they injested the white pills or not. They are pretty big and would choke if swallowed I'm sure. However, i guess anything is possible and if anyone knows the sign to look for if they did eat asprin please respond. I was with them for a half hour before i went to work this morning, and they were themselves, playful, eating, drinking...looked like nothing wrong. Thanks in advance!

The signs of aspirin toxicity may include vomiting, loss of appetite, depression, fever, and rapid breathing. If aspirin toxicity is not recognized early it can result in fluid build up in the lungs and brain, incoordination, muscle weakness, and seizures. Severe toxicity can cause coma and death.

I would take him to the vet now just to be safe!
The best thing you can do when you suspect that they have eaten something toxic is to rush them to the vet so that they might be able to get the cat to vomit.

I would take him in and get some blood tests done. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I live 3 minutes away from work and spend my lunch hour home with my babies. Yesterday i went home and they were fine. Playing and carrying on like they always do. They are so full of energy. I would really love to post their picture on here, they are beautiful sealpoint siamese mix. I don't have a personal website to post though...can anyone help?
