Try to call any aminal shelters you can to see if they will help you out. If you dont have any luck try to see if you can find any vitamins for cats, you can find them at most animal and local stores aka, wal-mart.

If you tell us more about the symptoms your cat has, maybe we can help. How is he sick and how is he acting?

He is acting very relaxed, he has been sitting in front of the heater even though he usually hates the heater. He is VERY thin and has diarrea. He wont eat anything I give to him and he won't drink. he's just so young, I don't want him to die.

How long has he been like this? You said he is thin, has he always been thin or has he lost weight recently?

Diarrhea is a problem. Someone on here suggested giving your cat some chicken and rice to stop the diarrhea. Not drinking is worse than not eating. Check to see if he is dehydrated by pinching a little bit of his skin. When you let go it should go back into place immediately. If it doesn't he is dehydrated. If your cat is dehydrated you might need to force feed him water. Take a little dropper or needleless syringe and put a little bit in his mouth at a time.

Do you have any baby food in the house?

If your cat wont eat chicken and rice, put some in the blender. Mush it so that it is blended but still a little thick. You can put this paste in his mouth a little bit at a time. He will lick it down and get some nutrients. If he doesn't get better soon he will probably need a vet. Cats can get infections and he may need antibiotics.

Try giving him the chicken and rice paste and force feeding him some water like I described above. If he gets worse or starts hiding and wont move, he will definately need to go to a vet.

Do you have any friends parents or would the people who live next door to you be able to take it to the vet??? some vets have payment options where they will send out the bill and let you pay it off. If you tell your mum this maybe she might help. We have the R.S.P.C.A in Australia where they look after animals who are sick, do you have anything like that in the US??

For love of God, contact humane society and take the cat to them. Use a bus if you have to. It is not good to suffer the cat like this.

Tell your mom the cat is suffering and in pain. I am sure she would understand. Take it to humane society and leave it there. It wont cost you anything

I don't know, but my mom says there is nothing a vet can do if his ribs are broken, and if he has a punctured lung he won't make it!!!!!

I know that you are only 14 and this must be a scary situation for you.

You should go to a pay phone even if you have to wait until your back at school.

Look up in the phone book for a huamne society of S.P.C.A (society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.)

Tell them that you found this sick cat and they will most likely send someone to pick it up. If they can't cure it they will at least put it too sleep.

This is the most humane thing you can do.

From what you describe I don't think he will heal. I know it's very very hard to do, but you need to get your cat to someone who can help. Even if that means losing him, it's sad, but much better than letting him suffer. Please go to a pay phone and call the humane society.

Do you know of anything that may have happened to your cat to break his ribs/hurt him? But Please call the humane society. I know its sad but you will be able to get another cat again eventually. Perhaps when you don't have to rely on others for its care. Please help your kitty.
