I have 2 kittens about 8 weeks old (brother & sister). The girl is fine but the boy will poo in the ltter tray but I caught him weeing in the corner of the bathroom (Opp corner to where litter tray is) and now I have discovered other areas of the house with cat wee. The tray has always been in the same place. A couple of times when we have been out the bathroom door has blown shut and I wonder if this has contributed to the problem. Anyone advice needed....

I would try confining them to one room for now until the male picks up on using the litter box. After that I would probably move the box to quiet, low traffic area. Its possible that the door blowing shut has frightened him from using the box at times.

He might have a medical problem if he poos but doesn't pee in the box, ask the vet on your next visit.

My kitten did the same thing. I kept an ear out for her meowing / scratching the floor and pop her in the litter tray. I had to do that twice and she understood to use her litter tray to pee.
