![]() ![]() ![]() Hi! My cat is not eating like he was just about a month ago......drinks LOTS of water,using the kitty box, sleeping sooooo much! He is 16 and a half years old! Just getting old??? Bad teeth and really bad breath! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Leadfoot, you need to take your kitty in to see a vet. Drinking lots of water and being lethargic could mean lots of different things. If your cats teeth are really bad it can cause a large amount of enzymes and bacteria to affect other systems of the body such as the kidneys and liver. If the kitty is drinking an excessive amount of water and urinating a lot it can mean there is damage to the renal system. Or it could be a urine infection. I would get him checked out by a vet as soon as you can. You might want to consider getting a dental cleaning done on his teeth. Having bad teeth can be very uncomfortable for your kitty.
