1. How often should a kitten's nails be trimmed? Once a month, every 2 weeks??

2. My kittens are 5 months old, should I be concerned with preventing hairballs now? Are they too young to start a prevention program?

1) Probably about once a month or so if necessary. I do mine about every couple of months or so. When they start getting caught on my curtains or furniture...I usually give them a quick trim.

2) I would'nt bother unless they start having problems. Mine are all adults and get hairballs very infrequently....hardly ever actually. I think keeping them brushed is one of the best methods of prevention.
