Hey everyone,
I have gotten a leash for my kitty. When i pu it on, she lays down and won't move. How can I get her to stop this? the leash isn't bad at all ts a 12ft leash. As soon as i attach it to her collar, she lays down and doesn't move. Also, people say it is cruel to walk a cat because they should be free. I'm also afraid that when I walk her outside people will laugh, and also she will get scared. Im not sure but i wouldn't let anything happen to my baby...(gigi). Help guy..thanks

Try to entice her to move by using her toys or maybe some good smelling treats.

We had this problem with a friends kitten. (She is like a sister, just in a different house!) And so we finally figured out that if we dragged something on teh ground, like one of her toys, she would chase after it. By the time she would go without the toy though, she was old enough to be let loose outside without supervision!

i just set jack outside. (he does the same thing too) the first time he hated it, i had to hold him more then anything. the second time, i just put in down and sat down next to him. he finally started to walk around. the next time, he started moving around more. i havent be able to lead him yet. if i start to walk and he feels the slightest pull, he was fall to the ground. hope this helps. lotty
