my 9 yr old cat is loosing a large ammount of hair around her bottom and back legs, she is an indoor kitty and never goes out side, does any one have any thoughts or advise, please help, I cant afford to take her to the vet right now,,, thanks momma

It could be stress related, fleas or allergies. Have there been any changes in your household that may have caused her stress? Is she treated for fleas?

Sounds like it might be allergies. Try treating her for fleas with advantage or frontline, to see if that is it.
