![]() ![]() I just want to thank everyone for the helpful suggestions, I will definately try all of them. I just wanted to make clear that I actually found the information that kittens learn how to use a litter box from their mother in a website. Petplanet.co.uk, to be exact. But I didnt take it offensively, so thats ok. I just didnt want you to think I had no proof or support. Thanks wtpooh and everyone else for being so helpful, but I have another problem. I know that pets have an odor, it doesnt bother me so much but it does my guests. Is there any way to disguise it without changing litter?? I have two plug-ins already! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Mix some baking soda into the litter, it does a great job at getting rid of litter box odor. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() For odor control this is what I do.... I use covered boxes, scoop daily, completely change the litter weekly, clean the entire box with dish soap monthly and keep all the boxes in one spare bedroom. Maybe just moving the boxes to another area would help in your case. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Mandy - Baking soda seems to be a good solution by many.....I'll have to keep that in mind. ![]() I've never thought of trying it before. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Baking soda is great in between litter changes. I mix some in when I scoop, and when I clean out the box I usually sprinkle some in the bottom. If your litter is relatively clean and the cats are covering, there shouldn't be an odor. IP: Logged |
