Hi ,my name is Belinda and I am mom to two wonderful cats ( along with two wonderful kids and a rottweiler) anyway, one of my cats, Stripey an orange and white short haired neutered almost three year old , indoor outdoor, great great great cat is very sick. It started about a week ago when i noticed he was laying in more than usual, it has gotten chilly here so i thought maybe that was why but as the days went on I realized he was too lethargic and not eating much, he then had two really bad bouts of liquid diarrhea and has since been to a vet who proscribed Clavamox and an appetite stimulant, he also hydrated him in the office and told me to give it a few days and come back and get blood work done if he has not gotten better, He has not, his eyes look vacant and it almost seems painful to him when i try to pet him, he flinches. He has not eaten anything for days but has had water, he drinks it very slowly , he is refusing it today however. He is just laying and it almost looks painful when he lays , he tends to have his head down lower than his backside, hard to explain but he just looks tense and stressed, Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with him? I feel awful for him, he isusually a very active, very vocal ,very, very cool cat. He does catch mice and birds and right before this did catch a bird he left whole in the yard but I am not sure if this has anything to do with it. He has been peeing a tiny bit in the litter box. Anybody?? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Belinda

Wow that sounds really bad. If it were me I would be back at the vet, and if necessary go to another vet.
