Now maybe im just being silly but I am constantly worrying that something is horribly wrong with my kitten. He has had lots of gas ever since we brought him home but has gone to the vet and got his shots and been through a full checkup. Im wondering if this is normal or a sign of a problem.

my kittie has worm, and she always just goes right infront of me and fart.. and oh my,, how bad it smells.
anyways. I don;t think it;s anything big, take it;s poo to the vet and see if it;s the worms or may be you are just feeding her too much. hehe. take care.

Was he de-wormed? This is given oraly, not a shot. I would drop off a stool sample at your vet to test for worms.

We are feeding him Nutrience kitten food (wet and dry.) We are going to drop off a stool sample tomorrow. Im a bit scared about the whole prospect of worms....Is it dangerous for the kitten? easily treated?

Yes, worms are easily treated and probably do not pose much harm unless they are left untreated for a long time.

When September was a kitten she had the worst gas. LOL. She was on Iams for kitten. The vet said that kitten food can be rich. It cleared up on its own. Until then gt the air freshner. LOL
