I just did this myself for the first time last week. Hopefully I can explain it fully. I am in no way a cpomputer expert :-)

First go to http://hometown.aol.com/
You will see an area that says "Make Spike a Star" with a link to "create a page about -your cat"
Use the "Easy Designer" upgrade. This one allows you to put several pictures on one page.
(You don't need an AOL account. I only have instant messenger and used that to log in.)
I believe your pictures need to be saved on your computer in "JPEG" format. Once your in you just upload the pictures. There is also a box to check to make the pictures smaller so one picture doesn't take up the entire page.

When your finished, follow the direction below that I have copied from a previous post from Nern.

1) Right click on the picture on your webpage that you would like to post
2) A menu will pop up and then you will need to left click on "Properties"
3) You will see another pop up that shows "Address (URL):" with an http address next to it
4) Highlight the http address, and right click it to select "copy"
5) Post your picture by pasting the URL address between .
It should look like this:

When you submit your reply the picture will show up but make sure you DO NOT leave a space between your URL address and the [/img]...I only left a space there so I could show you an example.

Good Luck!! If you have any problems I will try to help you again!

Megan

As long as you have an area to upload your pics (I use the site that I am a moderater on), all u need is to post them on here.

Unless you are lookin to make a webpage, if so, I dunno how to do that

Hmmm...The only thing I can think is maybe Web Designer didn't download correctly. Try to download it again. Or...and don't forget...in no way am I a computer expert :-) this is just a suggestion....start from scratch and open whole new page.

You said you already have a Web page though. Is it the one with only one picture on it? Like Kalyiface said "As long as you have an area to upload your pics "

For now...post that picture so we can see your precious one while we try to figure out the Web Designer issue. Just follow those other directions above from Nern to do that. You can also just post the web address here and we can go to the site from that link.

When I click "Open an exiting Page" Easy Designer pops up in the background and then there is a window in front for me to choose my two pages. One is Index.html and the other says myhomepage/cat.html. The Index.html is the one with several pictures on it.

Maybe someone else knows of a free web page that you can download your pictures. I only learned of the AOL one from this site.

OHHHHH...what bea-u-tiful kitties!! So glad to finally see them!!

You almost had it! But you gave me enough so I could go to your web page and copy it myself.

I right clicked on the picture and went to properties. Then copied the address....starting with http: and ending with AOL_US
http://hometown.aol.com/go0b3r420/myhomepage/imag0026.jpg?mtbrand=AOL_US

then you have to add [img] before http:
and [/img] after AOL_US

and there you have it!!

Bugaboo, your kitties are so adorable! I love the black nose on Aubrie, and I am so very sorry to hear about your loss of her, she looked so young and healthy.
