I have a three month old kitten who is an absolute joy. I've had her for 3 weeks so far and she hasn't been any trouble. However, I discovered yesterday that she has been peeing on my bed. She did it right as my boyfriend and I were in there and we were both shocked. We showed her the pee spot and said NOOOOO and then stuck her in her kitty litter box. I then took the top comforter off the bed to find multiple stains on the bottom comforter... further inspection proved my concern that they were indeed kitty pee spots. I immediately bleached EVERYTHING and today when I was lying in bed, she came and peed on the bed again as I was in it. I have seen her pawing around the comforter as she does in her litter box but she has displayed the very odd behavior of pawing at the plastic in her box instead of the litter. She also paws around her kitty food and water although there is nothing there to paw at and she doesn't pee by her food. Another thing that concerns me is that yesterday as I held her she started making gargling noises and went totally limp (still breathing). I shook her awake but it took me a full 20 seconds to wake her and for that entire time her body was completely limp, not at all like it is when she is simply sleeping. It freaked me out but she got up afterwards and started playing with her favorite toy so I've let it go... The kitty box is VERY clean and I'm using the products my vet advised me to for litter and food. PLEASE HELP!!! I'm not sure what to do, I'm rewashing everything for the second time in two days. There are no other kitties in the house, there is a female spayed dog and the kitten has not been spayed yet since she is so young. Thanks for your advice!

Uhm. I'd go to the vet ASAP about the whole goin limp thing .. that seems like a HUGE concern. Even if it just happened once. Maybe she has epilepsy.

i have a boy kitty that peed on our bed once too but i think he was just trying to wake us up, he has started peeing in a black leather chair... he defanetly knows better. a whille back at a differnt house and a totaly differnt cat named levi,...he always peed on my bean bag chair that was fo leather...i dont know what it is about peeing on leather things but they do.
about the limp thing..was your cat sleeping befor that, or as it happened? my cats when they were baies and levi when he was full growen fell in to really deep sleeps and he would start twitching and his eye's would roll around in his head...but that was a dream..the only reason why i say is becuase he was totaly limp too. My new/old baby meko claws at the plastic in his potty box too, you know how cats like to scratch things to sharpen there claws..well i think that may have to do with it...i figure if he's not making a huge mess and is doing it in the right place then more power too him. lol... hope things go well...
