One of my cats recently has taken to defacating specifically on the bed in a spare bedroom. I've had all of my cats for well over a year without any litterbox-related problems. And when I keep the door closed to the spare bedroom, the offender properly uses the litterbox without any problems elsewhere in the house. So, I'm not sure what the spare bed did to deserve this, but it certainly is being targeted. Although the door-closed method works, I'd prefer to find a spray or some other method to discourage this behavior. I tried "No-Go" spray, but it didn't work. Does anyone have a recommendation of another method (keeping in mind that I don't want to spray a ton of chemicals on a bed that is occassionally used by guests)? IP: Logged |

I'm so sorry you have this problem. I don't really have a solution, but I am wondering, Has anyone that your cat really disliked slept on the bed. Cats sometimes show they dislike someone by going on their side of the bed. ------------------ IP: Logged |
