I've had my kitty for seven years. We have done many moves together, she has always been very adaptable. We have been at the current apartment since April. 2 weeks ago she pissed in my bed (and on my work clothes) while I getting ready to go to work. I kicked her out of the room for a night/day, let her back in only to have her pee in the bed again with me in it. I kicked her out of the room again, this exile lasted through the weekend. On Monday she pissed in my roommate's bed. I took her to the vet to have her checked out, nothing wrong with her. Bevioral issues said the vet. I bought Feliway spray, which both my roommate and I used on our bedding. Recently I started attending three night classes a week (plus working full-time) so I thought it might be she wasn't getting enough attention. I played with her all weekend, only to have her pee on my bed AGAIN tonight. I don't know what to do except kick her out of the bedrooms. Does anyone have any suggestions...thank you for your help.

Something similar happened to me about 2 weeks after I moved. One of my cats kept wetting the bed. Sorry to have to tell you but it lasted about 2 months. I started covering the bed with a large plastic sheet and she never did it on that ( I even slept with that on top of my duvet!!) After a week I took it off. That was a week ago and so far so good!!! Maybe try the plastic thing! Good Luck and let us know what happens.

Thank you for your replies. She is a little minx, calico. My roommate called her brother who has worked at a vet; he suggested we change her litter back to an older brand (she has used the current brand for 5 months, but perhaps it took her this long to decide to be “vocal” about the decision). I am also going to buy a plastic mattress pad to go underneath the sheets and a cotton blanket that can go in the wash with the sheets (luckily I live in Central, Texas; it should be warm here for a few more weeks). We are also going to keep her out of the bedrooms for some time and my vet even suggested putting her on medication (although I’m hesitant to do that). Has anyone tried the medication route?
