![]() ![]() ![]() Two years ago I rescued 3 feral kittens. It took 3 months for 2 of them to be socialized, they were adopted out I was thrilled. Unfortunately they were returned to me in July from the owner who couldn't be bothered with them and never spent any time with them, she left them in her basement and fed and changed the litter box only, she also declawed them. It turns out I find out now that she is on medications for mental issues. Of course I called the organization I work with, Forgotten Felines, for help getting a foster home for them because I am not allowed to have any more fosters in my home (I live at home with my parents and I am not allowed to bring more cats in). They were of no help and told me it was my problem. I was shocked at how they just completely washed their hands of the situation. A friend has been gracious enough to lend me a spare room for them temporarily. I have no idea what to do and I am now absolutely desperate! One hadn't been touched since it was adopted and had to be trapped, the other somewhat friendly. I am not the kind of person to give up and not take responsibility, I have done everything I can think of but all the rescue groups in my area are all full. They need more interaction in a loving and patient home. There have been no calls of interest for either one of them. IP: Logged |
