![]() ![]() My 7 week-old kitten had a little blood in his stool during one bowel movement. He is eating and drinking well and plays normal. He is not vomiting or having diarreah. What could be the problem? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Your kitten may have worms. When I got my kitten at 6 weeks old, he had blood in his stool and alot of gas, both are signs of worms. I took him to the vets, and he was diagnosed with roundworms. So you should definitely take your kitten to the vet ASAP to get a check up and find out exactly what the problem is, blood in the stool could be caused by several things, best to get the little guy checked out. ![]() ![]() ![]() Blood in the stool can mean a lot of things, a lot of them are not good. Definately go to the vet ASAP. My kitty had some blood in one stool so I took her in and she had irritable bowel syndrome. I hope yours is something simple like that, but blood in the stool is always serious and needs a vet visit.
