![]() ![]() ![]() This last week i got a bad cold, sneezing coughing the whole 9....and i was wondering if Meko can catch it? if he can what can i do to keep him healthy...sooo much has happened in the past few weeks at this point i will do ANYTHING to keep him happy. pleeeez help.... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I just posted a response to an almost identical question on the dog message board. Animals can transmit and carry some diseases. It depends on the organism whether or not he can get sick from you, or you could get sick from him. Most of the organisms that cause "colds" in cats are not infectious to humans and vice versa. It's possible for your cat to catch your "cold" but not very likely. I would use good hygiene, wash your hands after you sneeze or blow your nose. Also use tissues, and disinfect counter tops and door handles that can harbor organisms. IP: Logged |
