It was mentioned that my vet should know what foods are best for CRF. Let me tell you that most vets know very little about nutrition. They just hand you a bag of bland dry food or canned and expect your kitty to take too it! Well, unfortunately, it just doesn't work this way. This is why I asked about the types of dry and wet foods that some have had success with. I have already spoken with my vet and told him that the food he originally wanted my CRF cat on, are not working.

Some vets are like that. It takes work to find a good vet, just like it does with human doctors. A good vet should know what kind of foods to give and what to try if that doesn't work. I would check around with other vets in the area.
