I am really worried about my kittens. I am a foster mom with an animal rescue group and my kitten died this morning. I had taken him to the vet because he had very fat stomach and yet you could feel his backbone, etc... The vet tech checked a fecal, nothing showed up. He gave me some worm medicine just in case and sent us home. This kitten always live to eat. He never really played. What could cause that kind of appearance? I have taken in other fosters but the have all been combo tested. And some of the other kittens here have loose stools but again, the vet says nothing shows up. I'm at my wits end here. I can't risk anymore kittens. I'm feeding them Science Diet, kitten food and yet they just dont seem healthy. What do you suggest?

i think that you should go to another vet.if they have the same problems the other kitten had then there's definitely something wrong.i'm not saying your vet is a bad vet but he's not finding the problem so i think you should try someone else.how old are the kittens?because kittens allways play.when a kitten isn't playing there is something wrong.i wish you luck with the little guys
