Author | Topic: My Cats are Fighting - Help! |

![]() ![]() We have got two cats. We got them two weeks apart and they have been best buddies for over a year now. One is male the other female. They are spade and neutered. We have let them out of the house on rare occassions for a short, monitored periods of time. Over the past two or three weeks the female has been being really mean to my male cat. They used to play and now she pays him no attention and when he follows her around she hisses and growls at him at time they fight. Then again, at times she will go near him and sniff his hind end. I'm not sure what is going on. All I know is the male cat is very lonesome. He will sit and the door and cry and NEVER used to meow at all. Any help? Please email me! ![]() ![]() I've gone through this, and I'm sorry to say, some cats just never do get along. Hopefully, though, the more they're together, at least they'll learn to co-exist without all the growling. Maybe keeping them together more often will help. Then the "novelty" of a "new" cat will wear off and they can get back to their "normal" lives. IP: Logged |
