![]() ![]() My cat was vomiting for 2 weeks. He is about 8 (rescued from shelter.) We took him to the vet, but couldn't afford the $300+ that it was going to cost us to have him stay overnight and get all the tests done. We were given electrolyte water and paste food chock full of vitamins. He was also given 3 shots. This was Friday at 2:00. On Sunday about 11am, he vomited (green) all his water. I called the emergency vet who told me to stop feeding him, but make sure that he has water. About an hour and a half ago (Monday 2:00am) his entire body was wracked with convulsions. We carried him to the kitchen (linoleum) his legs would not hold him and he emptied the contents of his stomach once again (green watery mixed with slimy) He seems very disoriented. Although I have no $ until Wednesday, I am going to take him back to the vet today. Does anyone think that the vet will turn him away because we are not able to pay until Wednesday? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() Hi my advice is go and see your local vet and explain your situation, hopefully you can come to some sort of arrangement to pay the bill off. Usually vets are pretty good like that especially if your genuine. They want to help the animal just as much as the owners do. Good luck ![]() IP: Logged |
