Hi, my name is Lila. My cat has given birth to 4 fantastic kittens and they are lovely. They are now 3 weeks old and i was wondering if it is ok to handle them now (their eyes opened a week ago). I was on a website and it said it was ok to handle kittens from 2 weeks old and that it was a good idea to hadle them as they would get used to humans. I have handled them but my cat seems to get distressed by this and starts licking them. i don't want to distress her a and i want to do the best 4 the kittens. Can anyone help me? Is it ok to handle them?
Lila

Yes, it is okay to handle them. It is a good idea to handle them actually so they are not afraid of people. When handling them just be sure move slowly, talk softly ect. as to not distress the mother.
