![]() ![]() My cat had 6 kittens five days ago, and all are doing beautifully. I have noticed that one does not seem to be able to bear weight on its legs like the others. They are splayed, and it gets around on its belly. I have noticed it pulling its legs in sometimes. Does anyone know if this might improve as it gets older? What are my options if the problem doesn't rectify itself? I work in the disability field, I am quite prepared to raise a cat with a disability. Any help appreciated. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I hope your kitten is doing better by now and I admire your bravery for this possible disability!! I am no expert, but have raised a lot of newly-born kitties so I can tell ya that a lot of new borns seem slower than the others in thier litters, they spread thier legs apart, then creep around on the bellies- some do it only days, but I've seen some do it for weeks and one did this for two months...keep up your spirit, and dont give up. Let me know how he's doing??? IP: Logged |
