I own a few "extreme-faced" Persians, and I bought them from professional breeders which show as well. There are doll-faced Persians too, like a regular face of a cat, just flyffy, look angora. If you want one extrem kind, try www.breedlist.com for your region/area, and find a good breeder. For a few hundred dollars, there is that breeder quality as well as if anything is wrong. It's well worth the average of $300-to have a quality cat, esp. Persians. I adore mine, after yrs of owning regular cats, Maine Coon too, there is just a different character, more layed-back. Remember, they require at least a weekly COMBING not brushing, with a greyhound/silver animal comb, and they have eyes that tear a lot cause of that short snout, and so you have to wipe them down a few times a day as well. But they have me completely trained.....well worth it all.
Oh, another suggestion, go to Cat Fanciers association website and look at the show list, in your region, and go to a show. They always have kittens or cats for sale, some retired champions, for cost of spay/neuter only, and many kittens, at least 16 weeks of age. Best wishes.
